Explain the method of quick replacement of bucket elevator chain

Bucket elevator chain replacement method: bucket elevator in daily production is more commonly used mechanical equipment, bucket elevator chain due to its frequent use, bucket elevator chain for a long time to use problems is very normal, if the chain wear and fracture, it is more troublesome, replacing the bucket elevator chain and hopper usually takes 7 to 10 days. However, it is unlikely to give such sufficient replacement time if the bucket chain is stopped for repair and replacement after the device has been running for a period of time. Therefore, how to replace the bucket chain of large bucket elevator reasonably and efficiently through scientific means is a difficult problem in front of us.

Routine replacement Bucket elevator The method of bucket chain has problems and takes a long time. This paper introduces a method to replace the chain quickly

1) imitate the method of belt conveyor to replace conveyor belt. Firstly, the chain at the tail of bucket elevator is cut off and divided into two sections at the feed side and the discharge side. The whole bucket chain forms an inverted "U" structure in the box, which is the "one breakthrough" mentioned above.

2) set three rooting points on the whole inverted "U" shaped bucket chain, namely, the "three-point rooting" mentioned above, in which one is set at the side of the inlet and outlet chain respectively.

3) two lifting points are respectively set at the side of the bucket chain. The first active lifting point of the bucket chain is set at the middle side of the bottom box of the bucket elevator, that is, in the middle of the feeding end and the discharging end. The traction steel wire rope is tied to the outside of the box at the feeding side about 2 m, but the wire rope must be set at the inner side of the bucket chain at the feeding side to facilitate traction; One winch set here is placed on the side of the bottom box through the pulley; its main function is to transport the new bucket chain to the box body at the feeding end at the breakthrough point after the new and old bucket link head. The second active lifting point is set at the observation hole on the feed side of the fourth floor, where a pulley and a winch are also set; the lifting point of the steel wire rope is set at the feed end side of the first half floor, and the wire rope is placed at the open side of the hopper at the feeding end to lift the hopper at the feeding side at a uniform speed. The third dragging point is set outside the front of the discharge end to drag the old bucket chain which slides downward and moves out under the action of gravity; here, the traction point of the steel wire rope is in the front of the bucket chain.

4) before the implementation of this scheme, the following work should be done well:

Firstly, the transmission device of bucket elevator shall be completely separated from the body, but the backstop shall not be detached;

(2) all the accumulated materials in the hopper at the feeding side of the elevator should be cleaned up, and the accumulated materials in the box that affect the free sliding of the bucket chain should also be cleaned up;

(3) rectangular holes with a height of 1.8 m and a width of 1.1 m should be cut out from the box plate at the bottom of the bucket elevator at the feed side and the discharge side to facilitate the access of the bucket chain;

(4) the new bucket chain and hopper should be connected at least 6 m in advance to shorten the overall installation time;

(5) remove the top cover and assign a special person to lubricate the chain plate with proper amount of oil to reduce the resistance during manual rotation.

5) the important link of implementing this scheme is that the hoists at three active points must operate synchronously and uniformly, without preemption or delay. In particular, a towing winch shall not be pulled out quickly in advance, otherwise the winch or bucket chain will be broken.

When the new chain is pulled to the starting point of the new chain, it can be carried out again at the speed of 1.5 m.

7) after the new chain completely replaces the old chain, cut off the old chain and seal the inverted "U" shaped mouth of the new chain to form an "O" sealing ring.

8) point the fixed bolt tail of the hopper in turn, restore the transmission device and upper cover, and carry out the commissioning and improvement of the whole machine. It takes less than 3 days to adopt the above replacement method, which is 2-4 days shorter than the conventional method, and fully meets the technical requirements of installation.
